Step 1 – Pre-Inspection
We start by walking the areas you want cleaned and talking with you about your concerns. We identify traffic lanes, stains, pet accidents, and worn areas. We also look at fiber type and carpet condition so we can choose the right products and methods for each room.

Step 2 – Dry Soil Removal
Next, we remove loose dry soil from the carpet, usually with detailed vacuuming. Getting out dust, grit, and debris first makes the cleaning more effective and helps prevent soil from turning into sludge during the wet phase.

Step 3 – Pre-Treatment
We apply a professional pre-spray cleaning solution to the carpet. This product is designed to break down oils, tracked-in residues, food spills, and general soil that clings to the fibers. Heavy-traffic areas and problem spots receive additional treatment.

Step 4 – Agitation (When Needed)
On more heavily soiled carpet, we agitate the pre-spray into the fibers with a grooming tool or machine. This helps the solution work deeper into the pile and improves the overall cleaning result.

Step 5 – Hot Water Extraction (Steam Cleaning)
We clean the carpet using truck-mounted hot water extraction. Hot water and cleaning solution are injected into the carpet under controlled pressure while powerful suction pulls the water back out along with suspended soil. This step removes deep dirt, bacteria, dust mites, spills, and old residues that regular vacuuming or small machines cannot reach.

Step 6 – Targeted Spot and Stain Treatment
After the main extraction, we go back and treat any remaining stains individually. We use specialty spotting products matched to the type of stain, such as coffee, wine, food dye, grease, or pet accidents. Not every stain can be erased, but in most cases we can significantly lighten or remove it.

Step 7 – pH-Balanced Rinse
We use a rinse process that returns the carpet to a more neutral pH. This helps prevent sticky residue and keeps your carpets from re-soiling quickly. A proper rinse is a key difference between professional cleaning and a quick discount job.

Step 8 – Carpet Grooming
We groom the carpet fibers to stand them up and lay them evenly. This improves the appearance of the carpet, helps with even drying, and gives the room a clean, finished look.

Step 9 – Final Inspection
Before we leave, we do a final inspection of all areas cleaned. We check for any spots that need extra attention, answer any questions you have, and make sure you are satisfied with the work.
