Back in the early 1980s, our father, Raul Melo, started his first janitorial cleaning business with little more than determination, a strong work ethic, and a desire to provide for his family. What began as late nights cleaning office buildings quickly grew into one of the area’s most respected janitorial companies, employing over 60 people and serving clients all across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
In the 1990s, Raul saw an opportunity to expand his services and take his cleaning expertise to the next level. That’s when he founded The Steam Master Carpet Cleaning — focused on professional carpet, upholstery, and floor care with a commitment to quality, integrity, and genuine customer care.
